With a strong biblical foundation, spirituality and knowledge of one’s faith, culture and history, our children will be able to apply their Christian values and principles in their day to day interactions with their families, friends, neighbors and community.
To teach the word of God to our children, strengthen their faith and their identity by becoming spiritually strong members of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church.
To teach Amharic language, Ethiopian history and culture to our children.
Our children will be enrolled to the program through registration. Registration forms are and will be available in main office or in classrooms.
A. Class structure: Classes are organized according to age but eventually there will be a select class (especially for Amharic lesson) based on their level of proficiency.
Class 1 St Mathew: age 4-6 (PreK-K) Class 2 St. Mark: age 6-9 (grade 1-3) Class 3 St. Luke: age 10-11 (grade 4-5) Class 4 St. John: age 12-14 (grade 6-8) Class 5 Apostles: age 15- + (grade 9-college)
*Special classes and training will be held for any male interested in becoming members of the clergy. B. Class Schedule: The Sunday School Program is held every Sunday from 9:00-11:30 am.

4. Volunteers Enrichment Activities
Preparing and presenting mezmur at various holiday seasons
Participate in holiday plays and others
Participating in events honoring graduating seniors who are transitioning to college
Attending college workshop with preparatory information
(held annually for those still in high schools)
Participation on special events organized by the church
Participation in organized weekend outings, camping, and other volunteer services
Keeping the program on the right track
A monthly planning meeting is being held and will beheld continually as the program progresses with members of the clergy, coordinators, teachers, volunteers, and any other who would like to join and continue to serve our children with their best intentions. We would like to use our current staff of volunteers based on their personal strengths in order to maximize our time wisely.
